In 2020 I founded a new function within Live Nation Entertainment’s Media & Sponsorship Division; CURATED by Live Nation - the first ever boutique agency within the org dedicated to advancing brand partnership opportunities that center Black culture and support Live Nation’s Black-founded and culture-forward joint venture partners. We build robust, scalable marketing programs and serve in a consultative capacity to internal and external teams, tapping into the depth of Live Nation’s asset mix to bolster socially and culturally conscious live event offerings for brands.

CURATED is the plug between brands and Black audiences in live!

CURATED x Femme it Forward x Colina Group *

In collaboration with Mastercard and Femme it Forward, we hosted a three-part custom panel series centered on Black businesswomen in music. Taking place in Black-owned businesses across LA during Grammy week, the events were intentional, allowing Mastercard to celebrate entrepreneurship in business and Hip-Hop.

The winning trifecta — made up of talented Black women — was vital to the success of these events. Partnering with the Colina group allowed us to produce an experience that was authentic to the culture and where the stories of Black artists and businesswomen could be shared through Mastercard.

Our events empowered Mastercard to shine a spotlight on powerful Black women-owned small businesses in local communities where the brand can have real impact.

We brought in women pioneers of hip hop with emerging talent and business owners to discuss impactful topics such as:

-Pass the Mic...Hustle & Grow
-HERstory of Hip Hop
-Get Money...Big Bank - Building Black Wealth

I never knew what it felt like to be unprotected around my sisters. Especially in a male-dominated [industry]. It was hard, but when I was in the comfort of my sisters, I was at my peak. I felt the most powerful.

CURATED by Live Nation and Black Music Action Coalition present: Rooted in Country™ a Conversation around Three Chords and the Actual Truth

Country music often celebrated as America’s heart and soul, has a more complex and multicultural history than its longstanding origins. The pivotal report by the Black Music Action Coalition, “Three Chords and the Actual Truth,” sheds light on the deep-seated racial disparities. In partnership with BMAC, we hosted a special panel discussion during Women’s History Month to give Black women in country music a platform to address the challenges highlighted in the report.

Connoisseurs of Culture

Anyone can consume Black Culture…it takes a connoisseur to curate it.

Curated by Live Nation produced Connoisseurs of Culture - an immersive experience that gave our attendees a flavor of what they will find at Dreamville Festival, Broccoli City Festival, Live Nation Urban and Femme It Forward events, featuring a performance by Doechii.
